Abu Dhabi: The bodies of two Emirati military personnel reported by state authorities to have died in a military plane crash in Egypt on Wednesday, were to be repatriated to the UAE late on Thursday.
Funeral services were held in Egypt before the bodies were flown home, a source told Gulf News yesterday. It’s not known whether another memorial service will be held in the UAE to honour the fallen armed forces personnel when their bodies are back in the country. The names of the men were not released.

A report by WAM said the two UAE men died when a military aircraft crashed claiming four lives. The other two dead were reported to be Egyptian. More >>
